History in the making…

On Monday, Kodak and JK Imaging, Ltd. announced that they have entered into an agreement for JK Imaging to license the Kodak brand name for some consumer products, including digital cameras, pocket video cameras, and portable projectors. JK Imaging plans to launch its first products in the second quarter of 2013. Kodak had decided to stop selling digital cameras early in 2012. Now there will be cameras available again with the Kodak name on them. Kodak has licensed their name for other products before. There are CDs, video tapes and batteries that have the Kodak name and are not made by Kodak.

On Tuesday Kodak announced they had extended a relationship with Carrefour, the world’s second largest retailer, to offer retail and online printing services to customers. Carrefour, which is based in France, has more than 9,500 stores in 30 countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
