Kodak News; Jan. 28 – Feb. 1

On Monday, Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks submitted legislation to authorize the purchase of Kodak buildings for use as a downtown Monroe Community College campus in the Kodak Office complex. MCC would buy buildings, 3, 9, 11, 13 and 16 which totals 547,000 square feet of building space and also 439 parking spaces for $3 million  The measure passed the Rochester Ways and Means Committee by the vote of 9-1 on Wednesday night. The full legislature is expected to vote on the move to the Kodak site on February 12th.

Kodak made an announcement that Kodak film was used for six of the nine Best Picture nominees at next months Academy Awards.
