40 years ago today…

On July 20th 1969 the first people from this planet walked on the moon. It was one of the greatest steps of exploration since Columbus finding the new world. The race to the moon proved that we take on an advanced technological challenge and make it happen. Yet, the computers on the lunar modules were primitive compared to what people have on their desktop today. Just think of what we could do today is we get everyone gets behind solving the energy crisis like we did to get men to the moon.

I keep following the space program. I even went up to the space station via the shuttle. Oops, that was in a simulator at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Let’s get behind our space program, again. The technology advances will help fuel our future.
