A bond to build a new library in Irondequoit passed in a vote today. It is the second time that the votedhas been positive. In April the bond referendum passed but that vote was nullified after the Town found they hadn’t property submitted a environmental survey. Irondequoit currently has 2 libraries; the Helen McGraw branch on East Ridge Road and the Pauline Evans branch on Cooper Road. The new library will be built on the Town campus on Titus Road. The new library will have approx. 40,000 square feet of space.
