Going back through files

Late last week I was looking in my file cabinet for some documents on some ancestors. I came across about 50 pages of family data that I typed with my old manual typewriter. That means that these yellowing pages were from before 1983 when I got my first computer. I thought that seeing as I have all my family data in RootsMagic that I probably didn’t need those pages anymore. I was going to just throw out the pages but couldn’t do it without making sure that all the data was correctly recorded. As I went through the pages and I found names and census records on the typed pages that I didn’t have recorded in RootsMagic. I realize now that I will have to go through all my files and see what other information that I forgot to enter. When was the last time that you check your genealogy files?
