Old News – Snail Mail

The US Post Office doesn’t like it now that they are referred to as “snail mail.” That term is currently being used because they are much slower than email or messaging on your phone. Here 50 years ago they were using the term to show that mail would be slower if they didn’t use zip code.

  1. I was annoyed, at the time, Zip code went into effect, because they did not provide one with a directory of codes.
