Last week I received another issue of RootsWeb Review via email. In the issue is an article by Mary Harrell-Sesniak about translating Latin words in documents. She included a link to a page on FamilySearch.org with a Latin Word List. I really needed a list of German words for my research. Doing a search I found that there was a German Word List plus on this web page is links to 13 other languages. They include: Afrikaans, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish. If you are going to look at documents in one of those languages, you can print out the pages or if are are going somewhere with a wi-fi connection, then you only need to save a link to the web page with your language on it.
If you don’t currently receive RootsWeb Review and want to get it via email, you can subscribe on this web page.
