HOWARD W. DEVOR Mr. Devor, 87, died March 4, 2000, at a local care center. He was a farmer in eastern El Paso County. Mr. Devor was born July 20, 1912, in Drennan Community, eastern El Paso County, to Arthur A. and Sarah (Wilklow) Devor, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 28, 1968, to Laura Maye Breining, who is deceased. He is survived by a stepdaughter, Joy Naugle; a brother, George; two sisters, Mabel Driscoll and Jessie Wing; numerous stepgrandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Road. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 3630 Sinton Road, Suite 302, Colorado Springs 80907.

IVA M. BAKER, 71, of Montrose, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 16 in Montrose. She was an elementary school teacher in Colorado and Michigan for 28 years before retiring. Services were held Jan. 20 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Montrose. Interment was at Valley Lawns Cemetery. Montrose Valley Funeral Home handled arrangements. Mrs. Baker was born March 22, 1919, in Colorado Springs to Arthur Abraham and Sarah Jane (Wilklow) Devor. She spent her childhood and received her education in Drennan, graduating from Drennan High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Colorado State College of Education at Greeley. Mrs. Baker's first husband, William J. Keusch, died April 14, 1969. She was remarried June 13, 1975, in Mason, Mich., to Eli Baker, who died May 12, 1989. She is survived by four daughters, Mary Farrell of Montrose, Virginia Gmazel of Snoqualmie, Wash., Kay Keusch of Grand Haven, Mich., and Ruth Snyder of Lansing, Mich.; three brothers, Dr. Arthur Devor of Westerville, Ohio, Howard Devor of Colorado Springs and George Devor of Montrose; two sisters, Mabel Driscoll of Long Beach, Calif., and Terry Wing of Crescent City, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Baker had a sister and a brother who are deceased.
