John died on 20 February 1963 in Hamilton, Loudoun Co., VA. He was buried on 23 February 1963 in Leesburg, Loudoun Co., VA.

John William Wilklow and Myrtle Virginia Harrison obtained a marriage license on 12 January 1904 in Loudoun Co., VA.²⁴ They were married on 12 January 1904 in Leesburg, Loudoun Co., VA²⁴ by W. M.
