18. Ruliff or Ralph Wilklow was born on 7 December 1807 in New Paltz, Ulster Co., NY. He was baptized on 14 March 1811 at New Paltz Reformed Church in New Paltz, Ulster Co., NY. In 1829 Ralph was living in Perry, NY. In the 1860 census he was an overseer at a brick factory. Ralph was a farmer before he enlisted in the Civil War at Jersey City in Co. K, 21st N.J. Vol. Infantry on Sept. 2, 1862. He was called "pop" or "pap" by the men in his company. He was discharged on Jan. 6, 1863. He died on 5 March 1876 in Lincoln Park, Morris Co., NJ.3
Ruliff Wilklow and Eliza Jane Todd were married on 1 July 1841 in Fairfield, Essex Co., NJ. Eliza Jane Todd was born about 1816 in New York State. Eliza was living in Lincoln Park, NJ in 1891 and in Little Falls, NJ in 1895. She died on 23 August 1905 in New Jersey.
