179. George Heatherton Whitlow18 was born on 4 September 1870 in New Brunswick, Someset Co., NJ.18 Arrived in the Port of NY on 25 Dec. 1893 aboard the Adriatic from Liverpool, England. George is aged 23y 2m. Lizzie is aged 22y 10m and daughter, Minnie is aged 2y 6m. It appears that daughter Maybel is aged 1 month. Served in the US Army during the Spanish American War with the New Jersey volunteers. He returned from that service with a lung impediment which later contributed to his early death. George was a carpenter. He died on 19 April 1912 in Newburgh, Orange Co., NY. He was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, Orange Co., NY. When George died, he left 5 minor children. Thomas was living with Mrs. Felix Kramp in Newburgh. Percy was living with Mrs. Jennie Larrity in Roseton, NY. Violet was living with Mrs. Sophia Force in Newburgh. Gladys, George and Addison were living at the Children's Home in Newburgh. Later Gladys was living with Ida Curry, 105 E. 22nd St., New York City. Addison was called Adrian in his father's estate.

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Pennington Taylor18 was born on 9 December 1871 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA.18 She died on 10 June 1911 in Newburgh, Orange Co., NY. She was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, Orange Co., NY.
