POINT - Willie Mae Crabtree, 87, of Point died Monday at Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Point Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Combs and Rev. Billy Butler officiating. Burial is in Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Lone Oak.
The daughter of Andrew and Myrtle Wilklow Butler, she was born March 15, 1911 in Point. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Billy Fred Crabtree of San Antonio; two brothers, Arlen James Butler of Cash and Alford "Billy" Butler of Paris; two sisters, Veardeen Whatley of Longview and Neva White of Wills Point; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl B. Crabtree, on Feb. 13, 1951; a son, John Benton Crabtree on Sept. 25, 1996; a brother, Arvie Lee Butler on Aug. 6, 1997 and a sister, Delphia Samford on March 27, 1995.
