He died on 13 March 1939 in Rushcreek Twp., Logan Co., Ohio.³ His funeral was held at the Big Springs Methodist Protestant Church. He was buried on 15 March 1939 at Good Hope Cemetery in Bokes Creek, Logan Co., Ohio.³
