[clipping, not dated]

Tuesday BERT YOUNG worked with his team on the Erie construction, between team on the Erie construction, between Black Creek and Rockville and that night went home, apparently as well as usual. About two o'clock he called his parents and said he was sick. Dr. Poate was called and he seemed to get better, but he was taken worse a little later and sank rapidly until the end came about 4:30. There were indications of an attack of pneumonia which his heart was too weak to withstand.

BERTRAM G. YOUNG was born in the town of Hume, Oct. 28, 1880, being a son of Mr. and Mrs. CHAS. YOUNG. He had lived with his parents in Rushford several years and the past six years in the town of New Hudson. He was a hard working young man and his untimely death is a source of much sorrow and regret to his family and friends. He was engaged to Miss Frances Wilklow who with the family, has much sympathy. Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters and two brothers -- Mrs. Artelia Hilyer, Mrs. Sarah Jones, Willard and Abram Young.

The funeral will be held at the house tomorrow afternoon, burial at Belfast.
