GUILDERLAND - Cornelius A. Wilklow, 86, of Depot Road, died Monday, April 30, 2001 at his home. Born in Highland, NY, Mr. Wilklow was the son of the late Fred and Ethel Wilklow. He had lived on Depot Road for the past 15 years. He was the owner of Wilklow Fuel, Inc. in Guilderland for 25 years, retiring in 1974. Also, he was a member of the Capital District Oil Heat Association and served as president in 1967. Cornelius was the husband of the late Mae Homeyer Wilklow; father of Donald (Joan) Wilklow of Greenville, SC, Theodore (Marlene) Wilklow of Unadilla, NY, Neal (JoAnn) Wilklow of Altamont and Robert (Heidi) Wilklow of Colonie; brother of Freda Nicklin of Marlboro, NY; also, he is survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly and Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. All other services will be private. Guilderland: Mae Homeyer Wilklow, age 73, of Depot Rd, died Wednesday (19 May) at her residence after a brief illness, Mrs. Wilklow was born in Brooklyn, was a graduate of Greenville High School and had lived in Guilderland for the past 49 years. She worked at the secretary for the family business, Wilklow Fuels in Guilderland for 24 years, retiring in 1974. Survivors include her husband, Neal Wilklow, two sons, Neal Wilklow of Altamont and Robert Wilklow of Colonie; two sisters, Harriet Ackerman of Altamont and Helen Schaffer of Albany; two granddaughters; and one grandson.
