Olivia Newton-John had her second #1 in 1975 with “Have You Never Been Mellow.” It was at the top of both the Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100 charts for the week of March 2 – 8. This would be her fourth song to sell over a million copies. There would be many more.

The song was was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female at the 18th Annual Grammy Awards, but lost to Janis Ian’s “At Seventeen.”  The list of awards that she would receive over the years is extensive.

Olivia would end up starring in the movie, Grease in 1978. Her song “Physical” would have a music video showing her exercising but we all know what it was really about.

Olivia suffered from breast cancer three times. That was what eventually caused her death on 8 August 2022, at the age of 73.
