I scanned another yearbook from Pittsford Mendon High School. This one is the Heimskringla 1986.
When I wrote about the 1983 yearbook, I said that the title probably meant “home schooling.” That is not correct. The article about Heimskringla on Wikipedia says it is an old Norse saga about kings. A few experts say it was written by Snorri Sturluson about 1230. The title means “the circle of the world.”
The class of 1986 had about 260 students graduating. Even though this yearbook can be considered fairly recent, those seniors are now aged about 57.
The underclasses have group pictures. The best part about this yearbook is that all the students in every grade are listed in the index at the back of the yearbook.
This yearbook fell off my desk (about 30 inches). It hit on a corner of the spine and all the interior pages ripped out of the covers. Wouldn’t happen again if I tried 1000 times.
