Last week I scanned an old yearbook, Senior Occident, June 1933. That is from West High School in Rochester. At that time they had classes graduate in January and June. Each class printed their own yearbook with the same name just to confuse us 90+ years later.

All the pictures in this yearbook are a little too dark. Don’t know if that was the yearbook editor’s or the printer’s fault.

Look at that group of guys in the picture. That is the basketball team. Didn’t they know that teams were suppose to have their pictures taken in their uniforms? They look like they could be the debate team.

These were lent to me by Bill Sauers. I noticed that he is listed in most of those issues as the “Editor of Graphic Arts,” which is why he saved these issues.

A couple of the issues were printed on newsprint which have turned beige over the years. The other six issues were printed on much nicer paper and still look very white.
