Teen idol Bobby Sherman was a the height of his popularity in 1969 when he released “Little Woman” At that time he was also on the TV show Here Come the Brides. He had previously been a singer on the music show Shindig! from 1964 to 1966. He kept up acting and a music career until the late 1970s. Then he became a a paramedic and later police officer.
“Little Woman” reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks (Sept. 28 – Oct. 11). It got all the way up to #1 on the Cash Box Top 100 chart for the week of Oct. 5 – 11.
