The group was from Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>The song got up to #5 on the\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em> Hot 100 chart for the week of July 6 &#8211; 12. On the\u00a0<em>Cash Box<\/em> chart it got up to #5 for two weeks (July 6 &#8211; 19). In Canada it got up to #1 on their single&#8217;s chart.<\/p>\n<p>Follow up single &#8220;January&#8221; released in 1975 reached number one in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. It barely showed up on the charts in the US.
