Most are recipe books with some cooking tips. none of them have a date. I think that these were from the 1960s and 1970s.<\/p>\n<p>The first one is for new brides. It more or less assumes that she doesn&#8217;t know how to cook or plan a meal. There are also some other kitchen tips in that booklet.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-brides-guide.pdf\"><i><strong>The Bride&#8217;s Guide<\/strong><\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-cakes.pdf\"><i><strong>Cakes<\/strong><\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-christmas-2.pdf\"><i><strong>A Christmas Cookbook<\/strong><\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-casseroles.pdf\"><i><strong>Casseroles<\/strong><\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-cookies.pdf\"><i>Everyone Likes Cookies<\/i><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-meat.pdf\"><i>How to Cook Meat<\/i><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-fish.pdf\"><i><strong>Fish and Seafood<\/strong><\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge-laundry.pdf\"><i><strong>Your Home Laundry Guide<\/strong><\/i><\/a>, which also includes tips on stain removal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There even more of these kind of booklets from RG&amp;E on the <a href=\"https:\/\/mcnygenealogy.com\/book\/rge.htm\"><strong>RG&amp;E Collection webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the back of a couple of\u00a0 these booklets it says that &#8220;When you buy a new appliance from RG&amp;E, a Home Service girl will call at your home to advise you on its care and use.&#8221; I find that interesting that they thought you would need help in knowing how to clean your appliances. I couldn&#8217;t find when RG&amp;E stopped selling appliances. Also at that time RG&amp;E could send a home economist to talk to clubs, church groups, or other organizations.
