The Supremes were back with their third number one song of 1964 with “Come See About Me.” It was written and produced by Motown’s main production team Holland–Dozier–Holland.
The song was the top song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of Dec. 13 – 19 and then again hit the top of that chart for the week of Jan. 10 – 16, 1965. That was probably because the group had appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show on Dec. 27th performing this song. “Come See About Mesongs of The Supremes
