Another toy from the JC Penney Christmas catalog. According to one website, these Hoppity Hop Balls were popular toys in 1973.

The expensive ones on the center and left have Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse heads. The description says “Child grabs the 2 molded handles” and “can be inflated at service station, or by hand pump (not incl.). Inflates from 14 to 16 in. diameter. For ages 3 to 8.” They are priced at $8.44 in 1973.

The ball on the right  is for kids or adults and “inflates from 18 to 22 in. diameter. Red or blue vinyl. Sorry, no color choice.” Even though it is larger than the ones with the Disney heads, it was priced at $6.44 in 1973.
