Nazareth College History

I uploaded a very rare booklet that tells the history of Nazareth College. Nazareth College of Rochester: 1924 – 1974; A Chronicle has only 31 numbered pages. It was published in conjunction of the 50th anniversary of the college.

This booklet has many references to The Gleaner, the newspaper of the college. It appears that the newspaper was published early in the history of the college. The first few years of the newspaper no longer exist but issues from 1928 to 2010 are available online on New York Historic Newspapers.

There are two copies of this booklet at the Nazareth College library. Worldcat says that there is only one other copy of this booklet; at the University of Rochester. But now there is this digital version that is available to everyone, anywhere in the world. This is why I scan some of these rare things.

Why is it that some books and booklets have a different title on the cover from the title page? The official titles are always on the title page. Sometimes in small booklets there isn’t a title page and I have to  search to find the proper title.
