This is a nice simple song by the name of “How Long.” It was the only hit by the group, Ace. They were from Britain. They had a couple albums after this that didn’t go anywhere. So the group broke up in 1977.

The song got up to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 list for two weeks (May 25 – June 7). It was on the top of Cash Box Top 100 list for the week of May 25 – 31.

The lead singer on this song is Paul Carrack who is also the songwriter. After the group broke up, he had success in the 1980s with the group, Mike and the Mechanics.
