23 New Uploads

Yes, I really did scan and upload 23 new things in the last week. Almost are small and all having something to do with agriculture.

First, I scanned 4 partial seed catalogs:

Sample pages from the Harris Seeds 1928 Catalog.
Highlights from the Glen Brothers (1928) Catalog.
Highlights from the Hart & Vick, Spring 1937 Catalog.
Highlights from the Dibble’s Farm Seed Catalog, 1938.

The catalog for Harris Seeds from 1928 had a tight binding so I could only scan a few pages. For the others I only scanned a few pages from each; especially the color pages.

Then I also scanned 19 program booklets for local Grange meetings. The Grange still exists and it was formed in 1867 to promote agricultural education. Almost every Town at one time had a local Grange. As the amount of farm land in Monroe County has decreased in the last century, many of the local Grange organizations closed so that now there are only two; Webster and Fairport.

The booklets were issued to show members the upcoming programs. All the booklets also have lists of officers and committee members. A good share of the booklets have a list of members that died within the last year (usually less than a handful). Some, like 1932 Honeoye Falls, and 1938 Mendon have a complete list of members for those years. Here are links to all uploaded:
