A new genealogy TV program start Saturday morning on NBC. “A New Leaf” is produced by Ancestry and features everyday people along with host Daisy Fuentes. It is only a half hour so it appears that only one person’s story is featured per program.
Ancestry say that each program “will follow people on the cusp of key life inflection points, who using family history, genealogy, and sometimes AncestryDNA® analysis will go on a journey of self-discovery.” Ancestry will be using their own team of genealogists to research the family tree.
Locally “A New Leaf” airs on channel 10 at 11 a.m. I can’t find any information on how many episodes have been or will be filmed.
Update: Channel 10 has moved this first showing of the show to 11:30. Future episodes probably will be at 11 a.m.
