About 1961 the Cunningham Company which originally built wagons in Rochester moved to Honeoye Falls. At that time then were making electronic switching devices. Some time around the mid 1960s Cunningham was bought out by Gleason Works. Besides a working factory Along with that purchase came a large manufacturing lot. In 1970 Gleason is building a new factory building on the lot. I’m not sure when Gleason closed that factory. Write a comment if you have an idea how long the Gleason factory lasted in Honeoye Falls.
