Birth Certificates for Adoptees

Today, the new law took effect that lets adoptees 18 and over to order their original birth certificate. It also allows direct line descendants of deceased adoptees to get a copy of their birth certificate. So I updated the chapter on “Adoption Records” (#7) of the Genealogical Guide to Monroe County.
