On the label for “Hi, Hi, Hi,” it says it is by “Wings.” It was written by Paul and Linda McCartney. It was produced by Paul McCartney of McCartney Music Ltd. The lead singer is Paul McCartney. Soon after this release the band name was changed to “Paul McCartney and Wings.”

The song was banned in Britain, on the BBC, for suggestive lyrics. Still it ended up getting up to #5 in Britain. Here in the US it only got up to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of Jan. 28 – Feb. 3. That week on the Cash Box Top 100 chart it hit #6.
