It was Made in Rochester

I scanned 3 booklets about manufacturing in Rochester.

First is Made in Rochester; 1830 – 1930, the program booklet released with an exhibition of things made Rochester given at Memorial Art Gallery in 1974. I have also included the  supplement that lists all the object in the exhibition. The last 4 pages of that list are objects that received too late to be included. There was every kind of object in this exhibition including some shoes, stoves, a Mickey Mouse belt, a cracker barrel, bottles, and this Taylor thermometer. It would nice to have an exhibit like this again.

A New Century; Bausch & Lomb Centennial; celebration of 100 years of Bausch & Lomb and also shows how lens are made.  Has photos inside the factory of lens being made. This was when B&L had their headquarters in Rochester.

More than Photography… A Visit to Eastman Kodak Company (Dec. 1974). A booklet discussing facilities of Eastman Kodak around the world. It really should have been titled “Photography and More.” It has pictures of Kodak facilities in Colorado, Tennessee, Australia, and Italy. Then in Rochester it has Hawk-Eye, Elmgrove, Marketing Education Center, Research Labs on Lake Ave., and even the Distribution Center (warehouse) where I worked for 19 years.
