TV Scripts and More Theater Programs

Genesee Country Scrapbook; Vol. 15 (1976) is by the Rochester Historical Society. It is a rather small book that has short local history scripts (about 120 words each) that were used on channel 8 during the US Bicentennial. Added to each article is an extra page with one or more pictures related to the subject of the article. All together there are 75 articles on all kinds of Rochester and Monroe County history.

Then Official Souvenir Book of the New York World’s Fair 1965 is a 36 page booklet with pictures of some the highlights from the fair. This was from the second year of the fair. The symbol of the fair, the Unisphere (globe), is still there in a park. Most everything else is now gone. I went on a high school trip to the fair in either 1964 or 1965. Seeing as this isn’t local history, it is on the Internet Archive where you can view it or download it.
