Last week I scanned Crossroads 1952, the yearbook from Brighton High School. You can see from the aerial view on page 12 that the high school was being great increased in size at that time.
The 1952 class only had 147 seniors. I think they all look a lot older in their senior photos than seniors in high schools today.
That is the girls volleyball team in the photo. Besides that team the girls had a basketball team and a softball team. The boys had all the usual teams plus an archery team.
There is a good share of writing in this yearbook to Zoe (or is it Zoë). I figured out that she was in 8th grade. The picture of the 8th graders only has surnames so I can’t figure out who she was.
