New Chevy ads use two elements from their distant past commercials. First is the song that in the video below that had Dinah Shore singing on her show in the 1950s. This old version is briefly showcasing the 1953 Chevrolet and has a version of the song that is a minute and a half. Hard to find that length of an ad now-a-days.

Then the new ad has a pickup up on top of Castle Rock (AKA Castleton Tower) in the Monument Valley. The old version from 1964 has a Chevy Impala up on the top. I couldn’t find the name of the model sitting in the car. This commercial runs 2 minutes.
