“Indiana Wants Me” is the only hit by R. Dean Taylor. He was from Toronto and decided to write the song after seeing the movie Bonnie and Clyde.  Currently he lives in Los Angeles at aged 81.

The song got up to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 2 weeks (Nov. 1 – 14). Somehow it made it up to the top of the Cash Box Top 100 chart for the week of Nov. 7 – 14.

I like the home-made video better than the song.
