I uploaded two large booklets.
First is the program for the GEVA Grand Opening when they opened the theater on Woodbury Blvd. This also se4rves as the program for the first show, “Planet Fires” that was given March 30 – April 20, 1985. This is 72 pages and has lots of advertising congratulating GEVA on their opening.
The building that GEVA is in was originally built as an Army arsenal. Then it changed to a convention center. Then it was used by the US Navy. GEVA acquired it in 1982 and then opened it as a theater in 1985.
The second booklet is even larger. It is Rochester; It’s Got It! (1981). It was published by the Rochester Chamber of Commerce to tell why Rochester was a great place to have a business. It doesn’t limit itself to just the City but all of Monroe County. What is amazing to me is that over the last 30 years many of the businesses represented in this 112 page booklet have either closed or been adsorbed by other businesses.
In late January I uploded Arista 1965; the yearbook of the class of 1965 of Brockport High School, Brockport, NY. I forgot to compress the file before being uploaded. It was 84mb and after compressing it is now 14mb.
