The latest addition to the yearbook collection is the Orient 1942 for East High School in Rochester. The cover of the yearbook does say “Orient 1942” but it is hard to see.
This is a rather small yearbook with just 80 numbered pages. Just the same, there are pictures of 354 seniors and 4 names without pictures. No pictures of the lower grades. Not sure if they had 2 grades or 4 in the school at the time. There is one picture labeled “Annex Choir” so it is very possible that some students attended in another building.
That color picture of the school on page 2 is “tipped in” as it is glued along the top onto the page.
I also scanned some small items:
Views of Rochester, The Flower City (1925).
Program from the Sun Theatre on Joseph Avenue indicating movies being shown from Dec. 25, 1949 to Jan. 7, 1950.
Program for the 1974 Commencement of Irondequoit High School, Irondequoit, NY.
Program for the Thornell Road School Second Grade play “Elephants, Clowns & Circus Sounds.”
