Wheatland Chili Yearbook

I started having some trouble with my main scanner. Notice how on the top of this page scan that it curves. The light bar in the scanner runs on 2 rails. It looks as if one of the rails is sticking just a little causing the output to curve. There isn’t any way to open the scanner and put some Vaseline on the rail.

I scan a lot of stuff. I get 3 or 4 years before I have to buy a new one. Usually one of the lights on the light bar quits working and that signals that I need a new scanner.

I had to re-scan many pages. Sometimes the re-scans came out with a curve and sometimes not.

Last week I scanned Genoatk 1967. That is the yearbook from the Wheatland-Chili Central School in Scottsville, NY. They were at that time and still are the smallest school district in Monroe County. I think it looks as if there were about 85 students that graduated in 1967. They would be about 76 years old now.

This is one yearbook that the Rochester Public Library didn’t have in their collection. So that is where I am going to donate it to.
