One song that I didn’t post about this year was “Sunshine of Your Love” by Cream. That group was just three men with Eric Clapton on lead guitar. The song only got up to #5 on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 list for the week of Aug. 25 – 31. It would end up being the highest rated song by the group.

Cream only existed for 2 years. They would announce their amicable breakup in November 1968 . They would end up influencing other hard rock groups.
