International Kodakery

I scanned 20 issues of International Kodakery. I didn’t know that this Kodak publication existed until I found these at a local estate sale. Looking online I see that the only existing issues are just 7 that are in the Rare Books and Manuscripts Department in the Rush Rhees Library of the University of Rochester. They would have received those when Kodak closed down their company library in 2005. Not sure why Kodak wouldn’t have had more issues of this newspaper.

It appears that the first issue of this newspaper was in 1966. Not sure it stopped.

Most of these newspapers are just 4 pages, except for Vol. 9, #12 which has 8 pages. There are 12 issues in Spanish and 8 in English. There are  some of the same issue numbers in both languages. These would be sent to Kodak employees in countries around the world. Not sure if everyone in those far-flung countries would all get the English and Spanish versions.

I’m going to donate these 20 issues to the University of Rochester to add to their collection.
