Sweetheart of the Senior Ball

Last week I scanned Genoatk – 1958 the yearbook from the Wheatland-Chili Central School in Scottsville, NY. It was a small school district back n 1958 and it is still small being the smallest school district in Monroe County. The 1958 class only consisted of 28 students. You will note that they are NOT in alphabetical order in this yearbook. Also in this yearbook are group pictures of grades 7 – 11.

There were some clubs and other activities for the students. There are three pages of basketball (Jr.Varsity  &  Varsity), one page for the soccer team, and baseball got mentioned but no picture. There is no mention of football for the school.

There are a lot of ads for a fairly small Village. Looks like all the local businesses supported the school.

The picture of the school in 1958 is on the fly leaf. That is now the elementary school. There is a drawing of the current High School on page 3. It was in the process of construction at that time.
